Commissioner orders to cancel roundabout maintenance agreement
Will review all the permissions given for maintenance for roundabouts by agencies

Acting tough on the poor maintenance of chowks throughout city, Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh today ordered to cancel agreement for maintenance of roundabout pertaining between sectors 32-33/45-46, maintained by M/s Finvest Enterprises, 2517, Sector 37-C, Chandigarh.
The Commissioner orders to Superintending Engineer, Horticulture, MCC to submit maintenance report of all 30 roundabouts for which permission has been granted for maintenance by agencies alongwith pictorial evidences and maintenance records. She said that all the non-performing agencies which are not maintaining roundabouts as per the norms will face cancellation.
