Virasat-e-Khalsa, the cult museum showcasing 550 years of thriving heritage and culture of Sikhism at Sri Anandpur Sahib, celebrates its anniversary on 25th November. As it enters the second decade after 10 highly successful and eventful years of its operation and playing host to astounding 11.5 million visitors.
The archetype museum remained in limelight for the most part of the decade – getting listed in ‘Limca Book of Records’, ‘India Book of Records’‘, Asia Book of Records’, ‘World Book of Records’ for the record of visitor footfall; securing a hat–trick of State Energy Conservation Awards and capping it with the ‘Most Innovative Product Award’ at the TTF Events in Ahmedabad & Mumbai.
